You have to move over-sized, very heavy or very bulky project cargo? HHLA Logistics has over thirty years gained extensive experience in the field. For every item there is experienced staff, for every load the right equipment and for every size of packaging the right storage location. Specialists ensure secure seaworthy packaging.

At the trimodal location in the Übersee-Zentrum, goods can be handled water-side (barge). Rail cars have direct access to the loading ramps. For transhipment HHLA Logistics has access to all terminals in the port. In close cooperation with the customers, transport networks can be linked using ecologically advantageous modes of transport, meeting high standards.

Modern storage and contract logistics:
Optimal adjustment for each type of goods

Televisions, building materials, mobile telephones, chocolate or motor cycles: for every item HHAL Logistics creates optimal conditions in its warehouses. It is possible to regulate temperature, humidity and of course make regular checks on sensitive goods. A speciality in the Übersee-Zentrum is the covered outside general storage area where trucks can discharge directly in the dry into the 30,000 sq. metre storage area.

HHLA Logistics achieves real added value by complementing or labelling goods, adding product inserts or instructions for use, bundling or packaging. They also carry out customizing or assembly, for example welding. All services in HHLA Logistics portfolio chosen by the customers are interlinked. Tracking via the Internet

HHLA Logistics is dedicated to it customers’ goods seven days a week round the clock 24/7, whose EDI data is quickly and precisely taken over by their own IT team. Cargo data input is possible via individual interfaces. Using the internet platform SCOUT (Stock Control Operation Unit Tracking) and other tools, each customer can continually follow quality, efficiency and speed of the services, and is able to rearrange short-term if the market changes.

Customs Services:
Customs and export without stress with the paperwork

HHLA Logistics, as an authorized economic operator (AEO), solves all problems that occur for their customers regarding customs clearance, export papers and document management (online using ATLAS). To facilitate fast distribution we create documents on-the-spot punctually for loading and then we despatch the goods, The customer does not need to worry about anything. Everything runs with optimized precision in the background.

Container Logistics:
Loading and discharging all types of containers

Loading and discharging all types of containers is done in the dry in the covered storage area. HHLA Logistics take over all services for import or export logistics. Apart from the regular customs and FSL (Free port special clearance)
The goods are sorted, palleted and picked according to the order and if necessary given seaworthy packaging. Moving around the port and classic cross-docking as well as Europe-wide distribution are part of the logistics spectrum.
