School student and voluntary career orientation internship

Were you unable to get an internship with us while at school as part of your career orientation? Would you like to complete an internship at a forward-looking company that handles a good share of global goods transport? As an intern, you will be able to experience first-hand the field in which you want to launch your career. If you want to gain practical experience as well as get an in-depth impression of the port to make your career decision easier you should apply for an internship with us.

The internship

You will be doing real work during your internship. The focus will be on gathering work experience as an industrial mechanic, electronics technician for automation technology, mechatronics engineer, mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology or specialist in port logistics.

We promise to accompany you throughout your internship with a welcome meeting on the first day, an introduction to the areas of work, safety instructions, the provision of work clothing, a fixed contact person in the areas you’ll be working in and a final feedback discussion.

The details

You will provide an application, are at least 15 years of age and are fit to work at heights on our container gantry cranes. The purpose of the internship is to provide guidance in your career orientation. You have at least one full week to dedicate to the internship.
