KTH

Rail freight handling at Kombi-Transeuropa Terminal Hamburg (KTH) is optimized for rail transport of containers and trucks or swap-bodies in combined cargo traffic.  Handling is done at HHLA Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA). This central location offers ideal opportunities for feeding containers and swap-bodies into the network of the rail companies operating in the port.  At the biggest container rail station in Europe, four modern rail cranes with rotating trolleys ensure rapid loading/unloading of block trains on nine 700-metre tracks.
