KTH

Rail freight handling at Kombi-Transeuropa Terminal Hamburg (KTH) is optimized for rail transport of containers and trucks or swap-bodies in combined cargo traffic.  Handling is done at HHLA Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA). This central location offers ideal opportunities for feeding containers and swap-bodies into the network of the rail companies operating in the port.  At the container rail station with the highest turnover in Europe, four modern rail cranes with rotating trolleys ensure rapid loading/unloading of block trains on nine 720-metre tracks.
