Keeping the port running smoothly

Huge cranes and automated guided vehicles are defining symbols of the Port of Hamburg. Our employees make sure that this machinery is always running. They maintain and repair partially and fully automated cranes, hoists and ground-handling vehicles with a variety of drives.

Engineers, certified technicians, expert and professional electricians, automation technology technicians, mechatronics engineers and mechanics work hand in hand. The focus is not on repairs when something has broken down, but on the preventative supervision of processes as well as procuring, launching and developing a variety of equipment and devices. Sustainable solutions are a priority and we are looking for people with an interest in progressive technology.

HHLA offers a very broad spectrum of work combined with development and training opportunities. Are you interested in technical topics and varied and challenging tasks and projects? Are you prepared to take on responsibility and keep the port rolling? Then you’re right for us!
