For more than 135 years, HHLA has endured huge social changes and a profound transition in scientific and technical terms. Without constant further development, the former real estate developer HFLG, which was founded in 1885 to build the Speicherstadt historical warehouse district, would never have become HHLA – the leading European logistics company.
About 6,700 employees, more than half of whom are in Germany, don’t just perform their multi-faceted daily activities – they work with customers and partners to develop visionary projects for the future. Take, for example, autonomous transport systems or usage concepts for drones in the port. They are always searching for especially sustainable solutions.
HHLA owes its continued success to its dedicated employees, so we also want the people who work for us to feel at home here. The company is diverse, the work is varied and the broad offering of training and further development is open to everyone. The share of women in the company is constantly being increased so that more women – both in management and in technical and commercial occupations – can make HHLA stronger. And the benefits of HHLA are also clear.
HHLA offers employees an exclusive further education program: The HHLA Corporate MBA in "Leadership and Supply Chain Management" enhances the networking of employees across countries and segments and prepares students for their further specialist or leadership career within the HHLA Group.
