B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (m/f/d)

Electrical engineering and information technology play a key role in finding paths to more innovative solutions for modern industrial companies. You can acquire a variety of practical and theoretical knowledge if you choose the dual study course offered by HHLA in cooperation with HAW in Hamburg. The programme has seven semesters and a total of 210 ECTS credits.

In addition to getting a basic understanding for mathematics and physics, you will learn the ins and outs of systematic design, electrical and electronic components construction, circuits, and systems. If you like to focus on automation and energy technology, you have come to the right place.

The practical education portion consists of learning the essential electrical and information technology processes in transshipment at the container terminals at the port of Hamburg and, if you want, locations abroad. You will work in several IT and technology departments and will become an integral part of project teams right from the start. As such, you can help in various terminal automation projects. The programme is completed by a wide range of seminars and foreign language classes.
