From lectures to professional life

You've learned a lot from the lectures - now it’s time to put the theory into practice. We give you an opportunity to obtain exciting insight into HHLA as part of a college internship or work-study placement. This allows you to learn more about the areas closely associated with your field of study and thus consolidate your knowledge.

  • A valid certificate of study in an ongoing course of study
  • Minimum duration 3 months
  • Work-study placement max. 20 hours/week, possibility of longer during term holidays

Requirements

Our interns and working students are valued members of the team and are given responsibilities from day one. You'll have an opportunity to gather valuable, practical experience and be involved in interesting tasks that will require your input. You will also receive fair remuneration and can take advantage of additional HHLA benefits.

Meet Clara!

As a working student in Recruiting and Employer Branding, Clara works on many varied tasks, not only in the Speicherstadt, but also at our terminals in the Port of Hamburg. She assists with content creation, writes scripts for employer branding videos and sometimes even stands in front of the camera herself.
