Annette Krüger is the new spokeswoman of HHLA

Annette Krüger, 44, takes over the role of spokeswoman of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) with immediate effect. Krüger’s previous role was at Port of Hamburg Marketing, where she was responsible for press and public relations. She succeeds Hans-Jörg Heims, who has been responsible for the entire communications department of HHLA since 1 October 2017.

On Krüger starting at HHLA, Head of Communications Hans-Jörg Heims explains: “Annette Krüger will strengthen our team as a highly experienced communications expert who is extremely well versed in issues pertaining to maritime economics. I am convinced that she will make an important contribution to the continued professionalisation of both internal and external communications due to her expertise.”

Krüger is a trained shipping broker and qualified transport administrator. She completed her traineeship at the Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung (DVZ), the leading German newspaper for the transport and logistics sector. Before working in the marketing organisation of the Port of Hamburg, she spent 15 years at various communications agencies as a specialist editor, PR adviser and press officer for the transport and logistics sector. Alongside her tasks as spokeswoman, Krüger will be deputy head of the department, just like Till Raubacher (in the marketing department).
