Modility wins German Excellence Award 2022

HHLA spin-off Modility has been awarded the 2022 German Excellence Award (Deutscher Exzellenz Preis) in the category “Strategy, transformation and new work”. The award was presented on 10 December by the German Institute for Service Quality, news network ntv and DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine. For the fourth time, a high profile jury representing the worlds of science and business honoured extraordinary innovative solutions and achievements.

Modility was one of over 30 award recipients in seven categories. The booking and placement portal for intermodal transport won over the jury in particular with its completely digital solutions and user-focused development. Director Hendrik-Emmanuel Eichentopf is delighted by the award: “We see this as confirmation that our solutions really strike a chord in the transportation market. We now want to continue to pursue the course that we have charted successfully together with our development partners and customers by expanding the existing range of functions. Thanks to the award, awareness of the solution will continue to increase and we will be able to open the doors of sustainable transportation to even more companies.

Modility developed a digital booking and placement portal for intermodal transport by the same name. Operators can market their transport capacities on the platform, and shipping companies can find them as easily as in any search engine and directly book them if needed. This is intended to establish Modility as the central point of access for intermodal transport and facilitate the adoption of or switch to climate-friendly combined transport.
