Purpose of the job

The HSSEQ office is in charge of drafting and updating all the documentation required to fulfil Health and Safety obligations, the management of safety, quality and environmental protection systems, and it maintains relations with the relevant authorities and certifying bodies. 

Finally, it deals with the security part according to ISPS

Responsabilities:

By way of example but not limited to, it will also deal with:

  •  Collaborate in the planning and implementation of projects in the field of the environment,  workplace safety and security;
  • Contribute to the implementation of the environmental management system according to UNI EN ISO 14001;
  • Contribute to the implementation of actions required by both current legislation and the health, safety, environment (UNI ISO 45001 and UNI EN ISO14001), quality and security management systems;
  • Cooperate in carrying out internal audits for the environment, workplace safety, quality and security;
  • Gathering the necessary data and information to create company reports;
  • Follow-up and update the AUA;
  • Participate in daily activities related to environmental, quality, safety and security programmes;
  •  Support the HSSEQ team in reviewing all procedures, harmonising their contents and updating existing ones;
  • Contribute to the monitoring of contractors carrying out their activities in accordance with HSSEQ procedures, regulations, applicable standards and company policy by promoting any action necessary to ensure that these are observed;
  •  Investigate incidents and non-conformities;
  • Cooperating in the proper management of waste and the verification of permits, filling in the MUD and the waste loading and unloading register;
  •  Supporting the constant awareness of staff on HSSEQ issues also through training course

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  •  Master preferably in environmental engineering/ prevention techniques in the environment and workplace

Technical Skills & Knowledge Required 

  •  Technical and legislative knowledge of an environmental (e.g Legislative Decree 152/06, UNI EN ISO14001)
  •  skills in occupational health and safety and quality;
  •  skills in management systems.

Behavioral Competences Required 

  •  Analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills

Language Requirements

 Intermediate English spoken (B2/C1)
