Our stance on discrimination

Discrimination does not begin only when obvious boundaries are crossed. Even words, behaviour or situations that appear harmless can exclude or hurt people. We take a clear stand:

Measures to combat discrimination at HHLA

Für uns bedeutet Antidiskriminierung mehr als nur eine klare Haltung einzunehmen. Wir schaffen Strukturen, um Diskriminierung wirksam zu bekämpfen und Betroffene zu unterstützen. Dazu gehören insbesondere:

  • Klare Verfahren und Zuständigkeiten für den Umgang mit Diskriminierungsfällen
  • Vertrauliche Anlaufstellen für Beratung und Unterstützung
  • Eine formelle Beschwerdestelle gemäß dem Allgemeinen Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG)
  • Schulungs- und Sensibilisierungsmaßnahmen für Mitarbeiter und Führungskräfte
  • Die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung unserer Maßnahmen und Prozesse

Diese Angebote stehen nicht nur unseren Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung. Je nach Kontext können sich auch externe Personen im Falle von Vorfällen im Zusammenhang mit der HHLA an die zuständigen Stellen wenden.

Our in-house support services offer a confidential initial consultation, help you make sense of situations and provide information on possible next steps.

The AGG Complaints Office enables people to make formal reports of discrimination and investigates cases in accordance with the legal provisions of the General Equal Treatment Act.
