The Cargo Planning & Administration Specialist is the main point of contact for customers, authorities, shippers, hauliers for the management of logistics terminal operations. Responsibilities include:
Summary of responsibilities:
Entering data into the terminal's computer system on the basis of the information received
Ensuring data consistency and manual correction where necessary
Analysing data inconsistencies with the appropriate information holder
Creation of customs declarations required for goods leaving/entering the terminal
Creation of goods waybills
Creation of pre-invoicing documents
Creation of vessel departure documents
The role requires significant teamwork and the ability to liaise with different stakeholders. It also requires:
Knowledge of English, other languages such as Slovenian, Turkish and Croatian are a plus
Good skills in the use of IT systems
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work in shifts
Reliability and precision in the execution of operational activities even in stressful situations
Openness to change with a view to optimising workflows.
Shift work is also expected at weekends; given the nature of the responsibilities, remote work will not be possible or to a very limited extent.
