The HR Partner plays a critical role within the team development of the project team managing the terminal expansion. The HR Partner manages talent acquisition and all HR related topics for the expansion team. The HR Partner works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of recuitment and HR management.

What you can expect

  • Develop a solid HR strategic plan for talent acquisition
  • Responsible for all recruitment related activities
  • Ensure diversity in the workforce by hiring, engaging with, and retaining top talent
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding for expansion employees
  • Manage the expansion HR budget and regular HR budget forecasting
  • Deal with 3rd party suppliers (head-hunters, trainers etc.)
  • Manage training plans including sourcing of training opportunities according to employees’ needs
  • Engage with the project management to support development of the team culture
  • Resolve employee issues and grievances
  • Comply with all the safety and security rules and regulations lead by example
  • Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies compliance guidelines
  • Actively report improvement opportunities to direct report
  • Support the department and business unit where required

What you bring to the table

We’re looking for an experienced HR Partner excited to join the largest port development in Italy. The person is an all-rounder with experience in talent management, training, budget management and working in an international team. The role requires a pro-active approach and problem-solving in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Good English and Italian (German is a plus)
  • Experience (3+ years) in HR and recruitment
  • Good knowledge of Italian labor contracts and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive nature
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to details
  • Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in human resources management or similar

The ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to work in Trieste.
