Changes in the HHLA management team

Experienced leaders are assuming new tasks in the management of the HHLA Container segment.

Starting on 1 May, Dr. Thomas Koch, previous Managing Director of Container Terminal Tollerort (CTT), will support Hamburg Port Consulting HPC, the HHLA consulting firm. There, he will contribute his years of experience and extensive knowledge of global markets to the implementation of HHLA’s international growth strategy. His successor as CTT Managing Director as of 1 April will be Andreas Hollmann, who until now has managed the Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB).

On 1 April, Dr. Georg Böttner will assume management of the CTB. As Managing Director of HHLA subsidiary HCCR for the past six years, he stabilised the company in a very challenging environment and successfully developed it further. Prior to this, he had managerial responsibility at the HHLA Group as head of the legal department. His successor at HCCR will be Jens Gutsch, who has until now been in charge of HHLA’s terminal development.
