Ad hoc: Dr. Stefan Behn to step down from the HHLA Executive Board at the end of March 2017

Disclosure of an inside information in accordance to Article 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation

Dr. Stefan Behn, Executive Board Member of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), today informed the Supervisory Board that he will be making use of the option in his employment contract to leave the company upon turning 60 on 31 March 2017. Dr. Behn has been a member of the Executive Board of HHLA since 1996 and is responsible for the Container business and Information Systems.

The Supervisory Board accepts Dr. Behn’s decision with deep regret, but also with understanding for his actions. Decisions regarding succession arrangements will be drawn up shortly by the Supervisory Board.
